There are many examples of video and event production going hand-in-hand but one of the most obvious is when a client requests a video to be produced specifically for their upcoming event. In these cases, our event and video teams work together to make sure that a quality video can be shot, edited, and delivered before being handed to the event team to air in the ballroom. Pre-produced videos come in all shapes, sizes, and categories so there really is no one-size-fits-all for the needs of our clients. Here are a few examples of videos we produced for events:
2022 AEM Annual Meeting Opener: Our 1st video in our pre-produced video segment features one of our long-time clients, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). In November of 2022, they held their annual meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL. AEM is always looking to outdo itself and create a more immersive experience for their audience each year, and at Tri-Marq we are always ready for a challenge.
With the elements of nature on our side, we ‘blew’ the audience away by simulating wind at certain parts of the opening video. To kick it up a notch, we incorporated bubbles as well, giving attendees the feeling of being transported into the screen. Lastly, we hung 96 Titan Tubes around the room – these were perfectly synced to the main video, and allowed the colors on screen to truly color wash the entire space. From colors to bubbles to wind, this was certainly an experience attendees will never forget.
This mashup showcases the intro video played at the conference as well as the view from the audience:
Ellis Tribute: As the second feature in our pre-produced videos lineup, this tribute to Bo Ellis was played during the 2022 Alumni National Awards to honor his accomplishments.. His time on the Marquette University basketball team lasted from 1973-1977 when the team earned the national championship under coach McGuire but the legacy he left behind persists today.
Marquette University trusted us to create a video that could be played at the awards ceremony to honor Bo and Candy Ellis and the good they continue to do for the university including their founding of the Nicole Ellis Foundation, named after the couple’s late daughter.
To put together this emotional yet uplifting video, Tri-Marq sat down with those at Marquette who are connected with the Ellis family or work with the students who benefit from their generosity. Compiling interview footage with b-roll footage of Bo’s award-winning basketball career and photos from the couple’s recent philanthropic ventures, Tri-Marq assembled the perfect video to honor the Ellis’ at the Marquette Alumni National Awards celebration.
For this project, Tri-Marq took on story development, location shooting, producing and project management, editing, sound design, and motion graphics.
WMACC Mission video: Our final project for this segment features our long time client – Women for MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer). WMACC is a non-profit, charitable organization bringing hope to families through research & awareness to end childhood cancer and related blood disorders.
The organization went through a transformation with a new brand and website. Women for MACC challenged Tri-Marq to create a Mission video to launch the new look. The video then aired at the annual ‘Designed to Inspire’ event.
Tri-Marq created a poignant yet celebratory Mission video with motion graphics and animation, using existing photographs, statistics and beautiful music. Tri-Marq animated the new logo, integrated the new brand colors and mission using After Effects animation software.
As our series on video and media production for live and virtual events comes to a close, we’d like to thank you for following along. We hope this information triggers ideation and creative work within your teams, helping you take your events to the next level.
