Introducing Austin Neumann, our Sales & Production Assistant, who has been with Tri-Marq Communications for two years and has already made significant contributions. Austin’s educational background begins at Full Sail University, where he pursued a degree in Audio Production. While studying, Austin started his professional life by working in a corporate marketing department, dabbling in varied roles from painting and styling sets to delving deep into photography and lighting. With time, he took on more specialized roles in location audio and audio post-production. Austin’s portfolio is extensive, having produced audio and music for a multitude of mediums ranging from radio and TV to live theater and podcasts. His experiences include working on location with well-known networks like Fox Sports, Investigation Discovery, HGTV, and the Food Network. One project that Austin cherishes from his time so far at Tri-Marq is his work on the “Honor Gallery: The Wisconsin Medal of Honor Exhibit,” a project that honors those who have served and received the Medal of Honor from the state of Wisconsin.
Even outside of work, Austin’s life is filled with music. He is married and shares his home with two cats, Augustus and Hazel, named after characters from John Green’s famous novel, “The Fault in Our Stars.” Just like the characters in the famous novel, Austin’s love story is straight out of a rom-com; he met his wife while studying music at UW-Milwaukee. Both are percussionists and self-proclaimed ‘band nerds’. He is an active drummer and percussionist for churches, community bands, and the local musical theater scene and has a soft spot for classical symphonies on old vinyl records. Before his time at Tri-Marq, Austin had a decade-long history as a gymnast. Today, he spends his free time attending musicals and concerts, exploring local restaurants and breweries, and supporting his wife in her performances as a band director.
The philosophy Austin lives by resonates with his love for music and the arts: “We’re not saving lives. We’re just making art.” At Tri-Marq, we value the fresh perspectives and artistic vision Austin brings to the table. His musicality and creativity along with his bright personality make him a valuable asset to our team. Thank you for all your hard work, Austin!
