Creative Artists + Tech Experts | Creating Graphics for the Screens Big and Small

July 30, 2024  by Alaina Salas

As a full-service media production and event company, we pride ourselves on delivering a comprehensive customer experience. It is imperative that we think about the bigger picture and see each project as a ‘whole package.’ We don’t just record the video, we create the graphics for the set. We don’t just produce the meeting, we create the show graphics that project on the big screens. So when it comes to creating these graphics, it takes an expert in both technology and artistry to do the job right. It’s more than just a shot, it’s a scene, and it’s more than just a presentation, it’s an experience for the audience.

Creating Graphics for Video:

Our team can create content for video at many points in the production process, but two common ways our clients choose to build their graphics are: before the shoot to be used on-location, and after the video is recorded to be integrated during post-production (the editing phase). One of our most graphics-heavy collaborations for video has been with Marquette Basketball. Each year, when the team gathers to shoot content for the season’s intro videos, Tri-Marq designs and executes showstopping graphics to compliment the set that is being used in the scene. Projected on LED panels, Tri-Marq graphics take the shot from good to great. As our video producers like to say, “It’s just a screen unless you do something cool.” See Tri-Marq graphics in action in last year’s intro video:

Our collaboration with Greystar incorporates graphics in post-production. Through communication with the client, the creative direction is decided in the pre-production phase (before the shoot). After we wrap up filming, we send the footage over to the editing team where the film is cut down to fit the client’s script and the illustrations are added. See how this style of film comes to life in the Greystar MBA Recruitment video.

Creating Graphics for Events:

When it comes to a corporate event, creating illustrated and animated content is about keeping the audience engaged. Interesting content captures and holds the interest of the audience, drawing them in, but also helps them retain information. Luckily, there are many options for attention-grabbing graphics. From intricate projection mapping to an all-immersive ultra-wide screen or even custom 3D animation. Tri-Marq’s graphic designs pair well with just about any event. Watch our Events MGFX Reel here:

By sharing the experiences of real program participants, customers, or employees, interview-based videos build credibility with your audience and spread awareness about your program or product.
