Shane Hoeft has been part of the Tri-Marq team for over five years, including four years full-time as a Video Editor. His editing journey began at a young age. He was just ten years old when he started making stop-motion LEGO videos. From there, he taught himself editing by diving into passion projects, gradually honing his craft. Shane’s talent and work ethic were evident while he was assisting with these small editing jobs, and he quickly earned a full-time spot on the Tri-Marq team. His love for editing is rooted in storytelling—he finds fulfillment in shaping narratives and adapting his approach for the wide variety of clients and projects that come through Tri-Marq. He especially values working alongside and learning from longtime editor Dan Kosan, as well as being surrounded by a team that’s both talented and collaborative.
Outside the editing suite, Shane’s interests span music, sports, and local exploration. He’s the middle child in a family with three brothers and a regular at concerts, with a love for all genres, but a particular soft spot for rock. He collects vinyl records, is a loyal fan of Liverpool FC, and enjoys hanging out at local bars and breweries. At home, he shares life with his pet cat, Gus, and embraces time with family and friends whenever he can.
In true Wisconsin fashion, Shane’s unofficial motto is, “It’s not cold, it’s just the wind,” a sentiment that all of us here in the Midwest can relate to. With a creative eye and a passion for learning, Shane continues to grow as an editor and storyteller at Tri-Marq.
