Tri-Marq Volunteers: Laurie Vega

July 7, 2014  by Betsy Johnson

As a socially responsible company, Tri-Marq makes an effort to donate time and services to our community.

Today we celebrate one of our team members who volunteers with many organizations, giving of her time and talent. Meet Laurie Vega: her passion shows in everything she does. These groups are lucky to have her on board, and so are we: REACH, Junior Achievement and Women for MACC.

Laurie joined Tri-Marq in 2013. After 22 years in the print industry, she immersed herself in the new world of live events and media production and has never looked back. Laurie works with clients that include MGIC, UMB, Lawson Products, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and many more.

Laurie spends time with her 9-year-old son Davis, who is in The Academy of Soccer. In her spare time, she volunteers for several organizations. Laurie has been Vice President for REACH (Real Estate Alliance for Charity) since 2007, a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement since 2010, and on the Board of Directors for Women for MACC heading up public relations.

Thank you, Laurie, for all your do for us and for your community.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎶 when we It’s the most wonderful time of the year 🎶 when we get to come together with our whole team. We’re grateful for every opportunity to spend time together as a group. Thank you for another great year of Tri-Marq.
For the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AE For the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)'s 2025 Annual Meeting in Miami, FL we had the chance to bring their theme–“The Art of Balance”–to life in a fun way. We created a stage setup built around eight LED “paintings,” each designed to move. Working with an automation team from Atlanta, we engineered a backdrop where the two center pieces moved up and down, almost like the scales of justice finding their balance.

On the design side, our graphics team took AEM’s theme artwork and ran with it, building out all the on-screen visuals for the show. At AEM’s request, we used AI tools to create custom imagery for every presenter, including stylized headshots that fit right into the overall look and feel.

With our event and design teams collaborating with our longtime client of 28 years, our work with AEM leading up to show day was off the charts, yet again. Together, we pulled off a stage experience that felt fresh, dynamic, and totally on-theme—and everyone loved it.
