All Hands on Deck: CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026

March 16, 2026  by Alaina Salas

Every three years.

Over 140,000 construction professionals from 128 countries.

Over 2,000 exhibitors.

Covering 3 million square feet of space.

The largest construction trade show in North America for the latest in earthmoving, technology, and sustainable construction.

Hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

Welcome to CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 — or CECA— as we like to call it.

It’s also one of the biggest moments on the Tri-Marq calendar. And our team is always honored to bring the special experiences to life!

Our event producers, technical directors, stage managers, video/audio leads and virtual streaming team, video producers/directors, cameramen, editors and audio techs packed their coolest Keens, Red Wings, OnClouds, and comfy walking shoes to cover a lot of ground.

In this blog, you’ll get more details about our work:

Ground Breakers Stage | Event Production

Our event crew, 21 team members that included producers and techs, headed to Vegas to manage an all-new feature, the Ground Breakers Stage. Planning and pre-production are our key best practices and help us succeed in everything we do.

– A year ago, we crafted our stage design and meticulously tweaked it to perfection, with feedback from AEM and the CECA teams. As with every event, our TDs and Event Producers plot and create CAD designs so we can hit the ground running when everyone arrives on-site to build the stage.

– Once the stage design was approved, our technical directors collaborated with our creative department and motion graphics designer to create visuals. The lineup included on-stage graphics, lower thirds for the online stream, and speaker titles displayed on the LED walls while each presenter came center stage to their chosen walk-up music.

– A massive LED archway leading guests into the Ground Breakers Stage was built, and we designed graphics in a dynamic way to welcome everyone to the theater.

– Our team arrived early to conduct rehearsals and presentation reviews for 18 keynote speakers to ensure that day-of production was flawless. With the option to rehearse the days before and even the morning of their sessions, some speakers rehearsed multiple times before their time on stage.

During the week, the Ground Breakers Stage hosted 4-5 keynote speakers daily. Each keynote covered upcoming trends in construction. Our team managed everything in the room, including a livestream for virtual audiences, using six cameras to cover the action.

Not only did we work with AEM to plan for a year leading up to CECA, but we also worked with executives from Fortune 50 companies like John Deere, Caterpillar, Mack/Volvo, AWS, Politico, and even TV star Mike Rowe.

The Ground Breakers Stage hosted the Next Level Awards at the end of the week as a show-within-a-show (within a trade show). Throughout the conference, attendees voted for 20 nominees, and winners were announced at the ceremony. Our events team produced the show, collaborating with our video squad to create content, including an opening Welcome video and two Nominee videos using footage shot and edited on-site. In addition graphics were produced in our Milwaukee headquarters that were incorporated into the videos while editing on location.

The Video Team: Covering 3 Million Square Feet on the Ground and in the Skies

Our video crews were hard at work on-site collecting b-roll, attendee interviews, capturing aerial footage, and editing footage for daily content. We managed multiple projects, creating several videos to best encompass the massive scale of the space.

– Recap Videos: On-site recap videos brought the show to life! Highlight footage, aerial shots, testimonials, and kinetic text captured the excitement of the event.

– Ads + Digital Signage: Our creative team crafted content for digital billboards on the Las Vegas strip and throughout the convention center. Designed and produced graphics for Ground Breakers Stage events, ads, LED boards, and lower thirds for videos that aired throughout the week bring a comprehensive design to all content.

– Social Media Content: Our teams shot and edited videos and social media clips to support exhibitor communications.

– Live Broadcast of Booth Demos: Tri-Marq helped one exhibitor broadcast demonstrations to a large LED screen in their booth, helping expand their reach.

New Stories

We’ve worked on CONEXPO/CON-AGG since 1999. The show changes every year, and there are always new features to keep the show fresh. We supported these new productions:

Shop Talks and Walks

We followed attendees as they visited seven booths, talking shop with maintenance experts. We captured candid interactions between attendees and exhibitors in action to edit for delivery once back at home.

Next Level Awards

The Next Level Awards recognized exhibiting companies that are pushing the boundaries and developing next-level products, technologies, and services designed to advance the industry. On-site footage was used to create two nominee videos and an opening video that aired at the Next Level Awards ceremony at the Groundbreakers Stage.

Keep an eye out for a CECA case study coming soon.
