Tri-Marq created this video for Heath/Zenith’s product launch of the Light Blade Security Light, made for Home Depot’s “Defiant” house brand.
This LED outdoor lighting had to stand out and show off the technology, yet illustrate easy installation. The light uses a broad LED array to create the ultimate degree of light coverage traditional lighting cannot offer.
In order to translate these critical features into video, Tri-Marq created this production providing a fresh style that grabs everyone’s attention.
We shot in studio and completely in-camera to create the black limbo affect. It was a challenge to get this bright white light to pop and fly around a black background. Using clean, crisp typographic and illustrations, we highlighted the features/benefits. Other tricks we used: haze machine, jib arm, dolly, and a little bit of stop motion—just for fun.
