This month marks 35 eventful years since Tri-Marq’s founding. Thank you to all those who have made this adventure possible.
We met freshman year at Marquette University and became fast friends. As majors in broadcast communication, we were on a fast track to becoming lifelong colleagues. At only 23 years old, we created Tri-Marq, inspired by working at the Seoul Olympics for NBC in 1988. We were lucky to achieve early success in creating an Emmy Award-winning television show, High Top Tower. We partnered with one of our first clients, AEM, who we still work with today, and we had the honor of working with Al McGuire on his Final Four Preview Show.
Since then we have been committed to bringing stories to life through media and live events. We have grown with the times and are beyond honored to share our milestones. In the past 35 years, we have:
Traveled across the state, country, and planet to work with clients spanning countless industries.
Worked with well-known corporations, growing startups, and inspiring nonprofits.
Forged relationships with hundreds of clients, many spanning years, some still persisting over 30 years later.
Created thousands of videos to help our clients spread their messages.
Produced hundreds of events, becoming the partner that our clients can always depend on.
And most importantly – we met many remarkable people who have made an impact on our lives and our company.
We know it takes a community to be successful. And for those people who touch our lives, we are grateful. We know we could not have done it alone and want to say thank you-
To our clients, for trusting us with your story, your brand, and your reputation. Through long days, deadlines, and a lot of laughter we have been successful together.
To our staff, past and present, for the care and passion you put into every project.
To our vendors, business partners, and friends who have touched our lives from humble beginnings throughout the decades, we are honored by our bonds.
And finally, to our families who embraced our entrepreneurial spirit and graced us with their unconditional love and support. Our work takes us to faraway places for weeks at a time. Thank you for your patience and for celebrating our successes.
The road has been long but incredibly rewarding, and we have met so many amazing people along the way. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
For nostalgia’s sake, here we are one of our first location shoots in September of 1989. We are shooting a three-screen synced video in Ashdown, Arkansas for Georgia Pacific.
