Champions Need Winning Content

March 12, 2023  by Alaina Salas

Last weekend, Marquette University Men’s Basketball took home the title of Big East Tournament Champions as well as the #2 seed in the 2023 NCAA March Madness Tournament. The team is celebrating, the fans are celebrating, and just like you, Tri-Marq is cheering them on to victory.

Just as we have been cheering for Marquette since 1986 when Tri-Marq owners, James Culhane and Christopher Johnson, graduated from MU – along with many employees, current and former – who are also alumni. We’ve been honored to create video work with Marquette Athletics in many capacities since 2005.

The goal: Create a season’s worth of content for the team for team graphics, promo, team introduction and hype, and general team graphics.

What we did: 2 team introduction videos, 2 sets of animated headshots and number panels, custom 3D animated hype video, general team graphics, and theme-specific gameday graphics such as National Marquette Day + 2023 Final Four Anniversary Celebration.

With a large chunk of our team being Marquette alumni, MUBB really is a passion project for us. Putting together new content for the client is particularly exciting because we are our own audience! As MUBB fans ourselves, we know the excitement and energy we want to see when our content is displayed at the Fiserv Forum during home games. And just like Marquette fans all over the country, we’ll be cheering the team on in this year’s March Madness Tournament.

Some notable projects from the past few years: Marquette Centennial Hoopla, “Pray”, 3D Animated Golden Eagle, 2023 Player Intro Video I, 2023 Player Intro Video II, Al McGuire Tribute, Dwyane Wade Tribute

From producing the general session to providing tech support for breakout rooms, capturing headshots and event photography, and filming testimonials, we were proud to be a full-service partner for this multi-day event. When the welcome reception outgrew its original space late in the planning process, we quickly adapted the general session setup to keep the event flowing seamlessly. #eventproduction #liveevents #corporateevents #trimarq

Tri-Marq was proud to once again collaborate with the Center to produce a video for this prestigious event. This year’s video focused on an amazing collaboration that brought a multi-Grammy-winning artist to both the stage and to share at a local school, showing how the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center contributes to the community beyond its walls to share the love of the arts with all ages.

It serves as a powerful tool for both awareness and fundraising and a testament to the importance of the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center as a hub of artistic excellence.
