It’s Show Time

January 12, 2012  by Betsy Johnson

Now that it’s January, show production season is in full swing. We just returned from a show in Atlanta for an international company with whom we’ve worked for nearly ten years. This first show of the season kicks off a year of our crew traveling from coast to coast working with clients across many industries.

In our documentary, we showcase our process for producing large business meetings. We talk about what goes into show production, including the production site survey, preparing the team, and everything that comes after.

As experienced show producers, we know we need to be a voice for our clients and on-site crews. And as such, we can execute the show plan while being ready for the input and challenges that inevitably crop up while putting on the show.

Meet our team and go behind the scenes of show week in our documentary below.

Each summer, a small airport in the middle of rural Wisconsin becomes the busiest airport in the world for the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual AirVenture event in Oshkosh, WI at Wittman Regional Airport (OSH). Aviation enthusiasts from around the world begin arriving this weekend to join the fun. Last year, a record-breaking attendance of 704,000 people visited the event. Millions more viewed it online at eaa.org/live.

For 12 years, Tri-Marq has partnered with @eaa to bring the experience of EAA AirVenture to fans around the globe. Tri-Marq’s event and video crews have been prepping for months. We handle:

- 24/7 webcam coverage across the grounds
- Full broadcast production
- Daily airshows
- Two nighttime airshows
- Custom built graphics
- Multi-camera coverage from all angles – even the Goodyear Blimp!

If you’re heading to the show, we’ll see you there! In the meantime, here's our case study featuring footage of our team on-site last year.
