Tri-Marq Volunteers: Greg Ideran

August 15, 2014  by Betsy Johnson

Tri-Marq welcomes our latest addition to the family, Greg Ideran. Greg is a recent graduate of Marquette University. Tri-Marq is excited to have him on board to work in the production team as a producer.

During his time at Marquette, Greg participated in Marquette M.A.R.D.I. G.R.A.S. (Making A Real Difference In the Gulf Region and Areas Surrounding). This student-run organization travels to the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans several times a year to help rebuild the community after Hurricane Katrina, with one of their biggest projects being assisting the construction of the first grocery store to open since the storm hit 9 years ago.

More recently, he has worked as a volunteer camera assistant on race day for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Southeast Wisconsin in 2013. Starting with us this year, he will be an assistant producer and will have a hand in all of our video projects. Welcome to the team, Greg!

Tri-Marq sat down with graduate medical education students at @aurorahealthcare who are in their Transitional Year program to hear stories about their time at Aurora. Utilizing one location-shoot day and a 6-person crew with a 4-camera set, we captured the graduates in a roundtable style. This creative approach captures their conversation in a natural way, allowing them to organically tell stories and experiences, leading the GME program. The roundtable style keeps authenticity at the forefront and encourages audiences to stay engaged with the story, making the video more effective for marketing and recruiting purposes. With the wide range of content recorded, we created additional short, digestible clips that are repurposed for social media.

With keynote speakers from the top voices in Milwaukee tourism, the infamous Running Sausages, T-shirt cannons, and @molsoncoors to go around, the event was a blast for Visit and their partners and sponsors. As a partner of Visit Milwaukee for 16 years, Tri-Marq is proud to be a part of reason this amazing city is a must-see destination.

@aurorahealthcare wanted to create a video showcas @aurorahealthcare wanted to create a video showcasing the state-of-the-art care facilities at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, it’s community partners, and the programs they offer to people in downtown Milwaukee, many who lack access to care. It features how the spirit of the Aurora teammates feeling connected to one another, living the purpose and mission, working in sync to make sure they’re all driving towards the same goal to help people meet their health care needs.

The story is told by Dr. Iroegbu, President of Aurora Sinai Medical Center & Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore through an interview we recorded on location. The powerful, yet straightforward story is elevated by combining beautiful b-roll footage, graphics and soundtrack. Tri-Marq is proud to have created this compelling and informative video to promote Aurora’s commitment to the Milwaukee community.

Tri-Marq conducted three days on location recording interviews and b-roll footage, in multiple locations. In addition, Tri-Marq handled project management, creative design, on-site production, editing, sound/audio design, color correction, and script writing.
