‘Celebrating 50 Years’ Annual Conference 2019

Automotive Fleet Leasing Association

AFLA held its 2019 Annual Corporate Fleet Conference at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) conference, which meant another year of recognizing some of the most outstanding names in the industry.

To celebrate this occasion AFLA challenged Tri-Marq Events, Inc. to create a memorable and interesting experience for its guests. Tri-Marq created a museum at the back of the ballroom, adjacent to the general session. Tri-Marq erected a 50-foot wide ultrawide screen and created video to project on it. Tri-Marq produced a historical video depicting the people and organization covering its 50 years. Additionally, in the general session ballroom Tri-Marq created a custom set that incorporated LED tiles built into the ‘AFLA’ logo.

Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight Schrute on the television sitcom The Office, was a keynote speaker of the event.

In the 50 years since its founding, the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) has emerged as a dynamic organization that promotes growth, expansion and professionalism within the fleet industry by providing education, research, technical standards, representation and advancement of member interests.

If you’ve been following along with our @conexpoco If you’ve been following along with our @conexpoconagg 2026 mini-series, then you know that this year’s trade show introduced the Ground Breakers Keynote Stage. Tri-Marq designed and built the stage, created graphics, and managed show production at the stage to make the most of every minute on-site. Each day featured leadership keynote speakers from the top companies in construction, AI, robotics, and tech. With 6 cameras on-site, the Tri-Marq team was able to catch, and live stream, all the action.

While our meeting and event team was hard at work While our meeting and event team was hard at work managing the Ground Breakers Stage at CECA, our video crews were covering 3-million square feet on the grounds (and in the sky with drones and helicopter!) at @conexpoconagg. The team of 18 included producers, videographers and editors—all on-site—capturing footage and editing. Not only did we create multiple videos for CECA, we also produced 20 videos for 8 clients that aired across the event, around the city, on social media, and even on the Las Vegas strip!

It’s Women’s History Month, so we wanted to shift It’s Women’s History Month, so we wanted to shift our focus to work that we’ve created for our clients to help empower and educate women. In a world where financial literacy is financial freedom, @northwesternmutual wanted to create this video to encourage women to take their financial future into their own hands and advocate for their own education. We were proud to help create this project with NM by handling motion graphics and animation, talent casting, and video and sound editing. Happy Women’s History Month!
