3D Animation Golden Eagle Intro

Marquette Basketball

To accompany their player introduction videos for the 2022-2023 season, Marquette University Men’s Basketball requested a hype clip featuring custom three dimensional character animation of their mascot, the Golden Eagle. The video serves as a prequel for the team’s iconic intro song, “Thunderstruck” by ACDC. Inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ similar animated entrance, the video serves to enhance audience experience at Marquette Basketball Games.

In the gameday setting, the arena lights go black just before tipoff, drawing the audience’s attention before the video plays, featuring custom animation, dramatic lighting, and intense sound effects. Immediately following the eagle’s descent onto the stadium, the team is announced, running out to their rock ‘n roll introduction. 

The clip is a compilation of aerial footage of Milwaukee, showcasing the shadow of the eagle as it approaches the team’s home stadium, The Fiserv Forum.  In addition to shooting the footage, the Tri-Marq team was responsible for visual, sound, and color edits as well as the 3D character animation of the eagle itself.

It’s Women’s History Month, so we wanted to shift It’s Women’s History Month, so we wanted to shift our focus to work that we’ve created for our clients to help empower and educate women. In a world where financial literacy is financial freedom, @northwesternmutual wanted to create this video to encourage women to take their financial future into their own hands and advocate for their own education. We were proud to help create this project with NM by handling motion graphics and animation, talent casting, and video and sound editing. Happy Women’s History Month!
