The Challenge: In 2023 Real Brokerage wanted to start off the morning of their annual RISE conference with an energized and engaged audience. The goal was to make the best use of the beautiful ultrawide screens in the ballroom. Sure, we could have projected theme graphics or a looped PowerPoint. Instead, as the show producers, we took it to another level.
The Solution: We created a ‘red carpet moment’ in the lobby outside the general session ballroom to create a buzz with the ‘Rise’ Master of Ceremonies (MC) who hosted the conference. The MC had fun and interviewed attendees, channeling his inner ‘Julianne Hough at the Oscars.’ During the ‘red carpet’ interviews, we broadcast the feed live into the ballroom on the ultrawide screens. Guests already in the room enjoyed hearing their colleagues and got to know their MC better. The man-on-the-street-style interviews were a hit for the conferencegoers, sparking conversation throughout the event.
Our Role: Tri-Marq produced this segment with an on-site video team (Producer and DP) who followed the MC as he conducted the live interviews using a wireless camera and microphone. When it was time for the conference to begin, we created a seamless transition from our wireless crew to the ballroom cameras as the MC ended his final interview to make his way to the stage, kicking off the event.

Pre-Production: Our Producer prepped questions to spark conversation with the MC and guests to keep the audience engaged with fun content. Also to have a seamless transition between the live broadcast at the event, it was imperative to coordinate extensively with our Technical Director and crew to integrate the different technologies, including on-site rehearsals.
