Digital Security Client Case Study | Global Event Production

Overview: In the spring of 2024, our digital security client held a corporate event in Dubai, UAE at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah for their International Sales Kickoff meeting. We were excited to produce their event. Yet this story doesn’t start in Dubai. It began years ago when we forged a strong bond with a dynamic meeting planner who over the years has become a working partner and friend.

Forging Relationships: With this great working relationship, our friend and meeting planner brought Tri-Marq to meet with her client, a digital security company for the company’s US/International event in Las Vegas. The company’s internal Producer managed their content, speakers, and creative but needed our help to round out her team. So this first experience with the client’s Producer was our time to establish ourselves as their trusted event production partner.

Following that event, in 2022, we produced their US/International event in Las Vegas with a limited team – only our Show Director and Technical Director (TD). We managed the in-house AV team and all of the client’s content. The event was so successful that they invited us back in 2023 to manage the entire event in Boston. However, this time around, we brought our whole team, including the same Show Director and TD, plus our full crew. We handled all of the AV equipment and staging. Being involved in the entire meeting allowed us to collaborate in-depth with our client on creative staging and show management. In those two years working together, we established a true partnership, and from these positive experiences working together.

Seeing Double: The success of the event led the producer to propose an unexpected, but welcome, request. We were headed to Dubai! The client was so impressed with the event, that their producer knew we would make the perfect partner to accompany her abroad. Just two weeks after the Boston event, Tri-Marq was tasked with producing essentially the same event, with the same content, speakers, and presenters, but this time, we would be in Dubai. We were challenged to take the event halfway across the world while still producing the same sort of experience for their global attendees.

The Pros: While creating an experience across the globe can be a challenge, bringing along a consistent team provides the client with some familiarity and a sense of security. Because the client was able to work with the same Show Producer and TD that they were already comfortable with from Las Vegas and Boston, they were reassured that the event would go smoothly despite being in another country. In addition, the company’s C-Suite executives were also familiar with our team. This comfortability and understanding of how we work and work together removes the uncertainty that comes with hosting an event in a foreign space. Like a family reunion. When our clients are reunited with a crew they already know and trust, they know they will receive quality and consistency every time. In this sense, we work like an extension of your team. 

The Outcome: When producing this event in Dubai, Tri-Marq had to collaborate with the in-house tech team, which can be complex. However, employing the tried and true processes and plans Tri-Marq has developed over the years, we were able to overcome time differences, language and culture barriers, as well as limited audiovisual options to produce a flawless event.

To this day, the dynamic meeting planner continues to work with us across several companies. With our strong bond, she recognizes we are a resource that alleviates the stress that comes with planning her meetings and events.

By blending custom graphic visuals with archival and current footage, the videos help tell the story of the Center’s mission—and serve as powerful tools for both awareness and fundraising.

Tri-Marq sat down with graduate medical education students at @aurorahealthcare who are in their Transitional Year program to hear stories about their time at Aurora. Utilizing one location-shoot day and a 6-person crew with a 4-camera set, we captured the graduates in a roundtable style. This creative approach captures their conversation in a natural way, allowing them to organically tell stories and experiences, leading the GME program. The roundtable style keeps authenticity at the forefront and encourages audiences to stay engaged with the story, making the video more effective for marketing and recruiting purposes. With the wide range of content recorded, we created additional short, digestible clips that are repurposed for social media.
