Beyond the Screen & Stage | Event Media Production: Episode 1 – Promos

January 8, 2024  by Alaina Salas

If you follow Tri-Marq on social media, you may have seen our recent event production mini-series: ‘Beyond the Screen & Stage: Event Media Production.’ We are excited to bring the content over to our blog for a more in-depth look into what goes into content creation for events.

The first 2 quarters of the year are busy for Tri-Marq and the events industry. With our crews flying across the US to produce our clients’ meetings, our creative team is busy producing content to air at these meetings. Events, video, graphics, and everything in between go hand in hand. To appreciate all that our teams do to make this busy season a success, we want to dive deeper into important aspects of creating content to make memorable experiences for guests at your conference or meeting.

There are many ways to create productions that leave a lasting impression by elevating what shows on your big screens. Emphasizing your brand beyond your logo can include elements like video production, speaker graphics, and content/media creation to air throughout the venue.

We’re kicking off this blog series in the same way you’d kick off an upcoming event-with a promo! We’re focusing on event promotions and trailers featuring 3 from our long-time clients, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.

CECA Promo 2017:

When Conexpo-Con/Agg comes to Las Vegas every 3 years, vehicle, manufacturing, and construction companies and enthusiasts come from far and wide to witness North America’s largest construction trade show. To get people excited for the long-awaited event, AEM puts out a trailer to ready their audience for the upcoming tradeshow and remind them of past great experiences. Tri-Marq puts together this promo by compiling existing footage with custom motion graphics.

IFPE Promo 2023:

A promo video can be more than just a way to get your audience excited for an upcoming event, it can serve as a way to get info to your attendees. Whether you need to remind your guests to register, book their seats, or fill in their calendars, a promo video is a great way to get your message across in a quick, engaging manner. Tri-Marq creates this trailer video for IFPE to remind guests of where to find them, the dates of the event, and what they can expect to see at the convention. We use preexisting footage combined with custom graphics and kinetic text to draw the audience in and hold their attention to the end.

Utility expo promo:

Short promo videos are versatile in that they can be temporarily embedded in your website, pushed out through social media or email, or tacked on to the front or back of company presentations as a reminder of an upcoming event. You can tell your audience what they need to know in 15 seconds or less using short, snappy photos, kinetic text, and voiceover. Tri-Marq produces promo videos to suit your brand’s needs.

Be on the lookout for next week’s blog where we’ll turn our focus to meeting opener videos!
