For one week every summer the Air Traffic Control Tower at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin becomes the busiest in the world during the annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture fly-in convention. And every summer, Tri-Marq is there to help share it with the world. Having worked closely with the organization for 10 years, we were proud to once again partner with EAA and provide live streaming production for AirVenture 2024.
This year brought a record 686,000 guests and 10,000+ aircraft onto the EAA grounds. Our live streaming coverage averages over 204,000 streaming hours watched during the course of the week with 15,000-20,000 viewers daily. Viewers can choose from 10+ live streams every day of the show at eaa.org/live.
In addition to 24/7 views from webcams around the grounds, Tri-Marq also produced live coverage of the daily air show, additional night air shows on Wednesday and Saturday, Twilight Flight Fest activities, and Theater in the Woods presentations and panels. We even streamed notable arrivals and departures on the new “Featured Stream,” which allowed us the flexibility to show even more of the event online.
As a special addition this year, we worked with volunteers at the EAA Seaplane Base to bring a new 24/7 webcam to the shores of Lake Winnebago. This stream showcased the aircraft that use water as their runway and helped highlight this off-site retreat during AirVenture.
A production of this size would not be possible without a strong client relationship and the trust it creates. We also create relationships with people all over the EAA grounds, so when a problem needs solving or a favor needs doing, we can provide the best possible client experience. When clients hire Tri-Marq, they know they’re getting people who understand the power and importance of relationships.
